Welcome to the Lord’s Online Store. The Lord’s Online Store provides access to the Lord’s Online Store website (the “website”) and sells products to you subject to the conditions set out in these terms and conditions. The website is owned by Marylebone Cricket Club (“MCC”) of Lord’s Cricket Ground, London NW8 8QN. MCC’s VAT number is 229 246948.

Please carefully read these terms and conditions before using this website. By using the website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions, which apply to all orders made via this website.

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders made via the website.

  1. General information

Every care has been taken to ensure that the descriptions, colours, photographs and specifications of the products shown on this website are correct. However, slight variations in the actual products may occur. As it is MCC’s policy continually to improve products, methods and materials, MCC reserves the right to change specifications from time to time. You may return any products to us which are not as you expected (please see MCC’s Returns Policy for more details). Products sold at discount prices as remnants or as substandard stock will be identified and will be stated to be sold as such.

  1. Availability

All products displayed on this website are subject to availability. MCC regrets that occasionally it may not be possible to complete an order if a product has been withdrawn or is not available for any reason.

  1. Prices

Subject to paragraph 4 below, the price of the products shall be the price listed on this website at the time of ordering, which is, where applicable, inclusive of any UK VAT payable by you but exclusive of delivery costs. MCC reserves the right to amend prices from time to time, for example in the event of a change in the rate of VAT or supplier costs.

  1. Ordering and payment
MCC will treat each order for products as an offer by you to purchase the products at the price specified in your order (including delivery) and in accordance with these terms and conditions.
Before you submit your order, please ensure that:
  • you have ordered the correct size for the product (if applicable);
  • the desired quantity is correct; and
  • you have checked the delivery dates carefully.
Due to cricket matches, large events, Public Holidays and/or Christmas closures (“Exclusion Days”), MCC is unable to despatch and deliver during particular times in the year. Please see paragraph 5 for further details.
If your offer is accepted, MCC will send a confirmation email to the email address you provided when submitting your order.
Payment may be made by any of the methods indicated on this website. The price of the products and relevant delivery charges must be paid in full at the time of ordering. You will not receive confirmation of your order unless you make payment of the required amount in full.
  1. Delivery
  • Method of delivery
Delivery shall be made to the delivery address specified by you in your order. Deliveries may be sent to addresses anywhere in the UK including Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and British Forces Post Office (“BFPO”). MCC regrets that international delivery is currently unavailable.
Parcels addressed to BFPO address will only be tracked up to handover to the BFPO UK address and must conform to BFPO addressing guidelines detailed on BFPO’s website.
  • Despatch and delivery times
MCC aims to despatch products on the day that an order is placed if that order is placed before 12 noon Monday to Friday excluding Exclusion Days. Orders received outside of these times will be despatched on the next working day. 
MCC aims to deliver within two to three working days, Monday to Friday excluding Exclusion Days. All UK orders are sent via tracked mail.
Please note that whilst MCC endeavour to deliver all products within the times specified on this website, all delivery times are approximate and MCC shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the products, howsoever caused.
Delivery is charged at a flat fee of £5.95 per parcel.
If you have not received your order after ten (10) working days, please call MCC on 020 7616 8570 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding Exclusion Days) or email lordsshop@mcc.org.uk. Please ensure that you have your order number and tracking number when contacting MCC.
If the initial delivery attempt is unsuccessful, a second delivery will be attempted the following working day. If the second delivery is unsuccessful, a something for you delivery card will be left at the address with instructions of where to collect your order i.e. at your local delivery office.
If you have not collected your order from your local delivery office by the specified day / time on the something for you delivery card, the products will be returned to MCC.
You are strongly recommended to provide a delivery address where there will always be someone available to accept the delivery.
  1. Order tracking

You can track your order status at any time. Once you have received an email with your tracking reference number, simply click on the link provided, or here to obtain an update on your order.

  1. Returns / exchanges

MCC wants you to feel confident about shopping with it and be satisfied with your purchase. You may return any unwanted products, including any incorrect, faulty or damaged products, within 28 days to receive  a full refund or replacement (exclusions apply see below), on condition that the product is in an unused, saleable condition and in its original, undamaged packaging.

  • Exclusions

With the exception of faulty or misdescribed products, and taking into account your statutory rights, please note the following products are unable to be returned or exchanged:

  1. underwear, swimwear and nightwear; and
  2. any personalised or bespoke orders.
  • How to return your order
  1. Wrap the products(s) securely in the original packaging
  2. Complete and enclose the returns form including;
    1. your order number;
    2. your full name, email address and delivery address;
    3. contact telephone number;
    4. the date;
    5. details of the products(s) being returned / exchanged and the reason; and
    6. any fault or issue.
Ensure you include your original dispatch note with your return.

For your protection MCC recommends that you use a tracked delivery service as it cannot be held responsible for products not received.

MCC will process any exchange or refunds due to you as soon as possible, but please allow up to 28 days from the day MCC confirms via email your entitlement to a refund.  Any refunds will be made using the original payment method.
Please be aware that you will not be entitled to a refund where products are returned to MCC in an unacceptable or used condition, as determined by MCC in its reasonable opinion.

  1. Limitation of liability

MCC’s total liability to you for any claim by you arising out of your order and/or these Terms and Conditions shall not exceed the price of the products supplied, together with, in the case of damaged or defective products or incorrect deliveries, any delivery charges incurred by you. MCC shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including without limitation, financial loss such as loss of profit or otherwise, whether this arises from a breach of duty in contract or in any other way. MCC cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with specific instructions stated on your order form. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

  1. Events beyond MCC’s reasonable control

MCC will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations if the delay or failure arises from any cause that is beyond its reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

  1. Children

MCC does not sell products for purchase by children. MCC sells children's products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18 you only may order products from MCC with the permission of a parent or guardian.

  1. Law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

MCC will do its utmost to ensure that availability of this website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the Internet, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, your access to this website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. MCC will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction.

All content included on this website, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of MCC and is protected by international copyright and database right laws. The compilation of all content on the website is the exclusive property of MCC and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright and database right laws.
You may not systematically extract and/or re-utilise parts of the contents of the website without MCC’s express written consent. In particular, you may not utilise any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools to extract (whether once or many times) for re-utilisation of any substantial parts of this website, without MCC express written consent. You also may not create and/or publish your own database that features substantial (e.g. MCC’s prices and product listings) parts of this website without MCC’s express written consent.
  1. Alternation of service or amendments to these Terms and Conditions

MCC reserves the right to make changes to the website, and these Terms and Conditions at any time. You will be subject to the Terms and Conditions in force at the time that you use the website or that you order products from us, unless any change to these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority. If any of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that term or condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
